Night Project Media Instructions

Listed below are different programs that you may want to use for your project:

Power Point

Movie Maker:
http://www.microsoft.com/education/teachers/guides/windows_movie_maker.aspx?WT.mc_id=moviemakerguide_google

PhotoStory: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/PhotoStory/default.mspx

Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/

You may have to download these programs. They should be free. You can google Holocaust for pictures that you want to use in your project. Quotes from the book should also be available on-line. I wish I had the time to teach you how to use each program, but I am limited on time. I do believe that each and every one of you are so capable of "self-learning"...may take you awhile to get it, but don't give up.

Again, have fun with this project. Learn a new program and most importantly learn from what you have read: TOLERANCE. :)

Night Project

I want to give you more than one opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned from reading the book Night rather than assigning you one (1) single project. There are so many wonderful, CREATIVE sites to explore! Your main goal is to communicate the themes that Elie Wiesel communicates and draw particular attention to it through pictures, video, or other media.

Just remember the grading rubric will be the same:

5 related concepts are depicted (hatred, hope, survival, sorrow, compassion...etc)
5 quotes are included in the project
Neatness
*If you choose the collage - 22x28" poster board.

Have fun
